oscillations

hello there! it's May already. April was exciting, because in April i collaborated with Giorgos Bouras for his sound installation shown in the art's complex in our lovely little town of Edinburgh. do read about the sound oscillations in the copy of a handout that i pasted up here, it's all quite fascinating. Giorgos worked very hard on his project and i helped out with the visuals. first of all i made a stop motion animation for "anatomy of a musical note" installation.

the loop of felt-tip drawn sine waves was projected onto one of the walls. it really worked well with the sound. then i created some in situ installation with help of insulation tape for "islands". here are some films from the show:
